I want an eternity band so badly but I am afraid of it being too small one day !
They are beautiful. You can always do a half-round which will look chunkier. You don’t really enjoy the benefits of eternity as it’s hidden behind your hand. The benefit is the band no matter what direction it turns you will always see the diamond. With half-round, you have to occasionally twist in place. I totally get the allure.
what is the most popular carat weight range for eternity and half eternity bands? what is considered large?
Thats a great question and very subjective. I think a 2 carat weight and above is always a goal as a one carat eternity doesn’t really have any size to it. By going half band, you can get a much larger look for less.
@That Guy Osiris some jewelers posted 4 carat as a norm. Well, I think this is what they want to sell. Thanks for validating what I thought.
@Margarita Smirnova yes that’s what they are hoping for 😝 it’s very expensive. All relative to what one can afford. 2 carats look classy and nice. 2 carat half round has a nice size to it.
