1. I think these people associate guns with the only sense of self they have left; in that the reason for a gun is to protect your self, family and property. They have little personal identity other than this

At the very least while Politicians are fighting against their constuents to keep licking the boots of the NRA and keep accepting payouts from gun manufacturers, ‘We The People need to fight for an immediate federal law to limit assault rifle purchases to 21 and up with a waiting period, gun permit and a weapons class. If we could atleast get that first then we could continue to fight for the ban later.
   Cigarettes and alcohol you have to be 21 but assault rifles you can be a hormonal and still mentally developing High School 18 year old child… These kids can’t even go on a school field trip without a mommy note at 18 but they can buy assault rifles, hand guns and unlimited amounts of ammunition…
   How does that make sense? How can ANY politician say NO to a simple age increase without permanently ruining their careers.
   Fight for age increase, it won’t stop the violence but maybe it can slow it down and keep assault rifles from ending our children’s lives!

8. I have no children, but if I did, I would send them overseas to another country to be taught. There is no school that will stop a mass shooter if cops won’t even attempt to engage him knowing where he is and what he has done. I guess Republicans get what they wanted…a country that is uneducated and filled with fear.

    Police with lots of guns, ready to kill kids and had that been a classroom full of black kids, they’d all be face down on the floor and handcuffed while they spend hours confirming that they aren’t the suspects.

    Uvalde the 7th school shooting in 2022. Up to 27 school shootings in May. Four months later, what’s the count now??
    44 Americans are shot by other Americans each day and America is the ONLY country on Earth that has school shootings.
    9,000 Ukrainian troops died in the last 6 months of war. 7,920 Americans were shot by other Americans in the past 6 months.
