The Office — Frictional Unemployment

Frictional unemployment comes from voluntary transitions inside an economic system and is of course occurring, even in steady/rising economies. It’s wholesome for staff to decide on when to go away their jobs searching for new (and infrequently higher) ones or when folks enter the labor market searching for work. In this scene from The Office, Michael Scott quits after being irritated by how his firm has handled him over the previous 15 years. Michael is comfy quitting, even after plainly he’ll get what he needs as a result of he believes there may be extra on the market for him.
