lol….I saw the Knobs and Knockers store in Yorkshire. I almost spit when I saw the name. I totally had a different picture in my head as to what the store sold.
Your home is beautiful. Congratulations. Your attic could make a lovely nursery, if you ever wanted to have children. I know you said it’s going to be your studio space, my mummy brain kicked in, I saw a lovely nursery lol
I bought my first and only house last October. I have 2 storage units filled with things from the house I grew up in, my grandparents and my Moms new build house that I took after her death. I took way too much and should have been more discerning. Because of my stupidity. I missed getting organized for moving in everything. I wish I had the money for painting my apartment in the house. And getting a few pieces of furniture that I don’t have. I have to go through the probably 75 plastic tubs over the next year and separate the trash, sell and charity bits one by one. I’m almost 60 and I’ll die here if I can avoid ending up in nursing care. I have original wood floors and trims from 1900 when it was built. I would love to paint my part of the house. It’s a duplex and I have the ground floor.
My number one tip for shopping for vintage furniture is to go to France. They have so many shops in the middle of France that sell lovely pieces for a steal. Only issue is you’d need to rent a van and get on the ferry.
It looks great! Vintage is cool and good for the environment. I am looking forward to the next video.

The house is coming along really nice! I hope you find all the pieces of furniture you want to decorate it just how you like. That’s the fun part. I have to do a few rooms in my house as well but the wallpaper is going to be a real bugger to get off and I’m not looking forward to it.

One of the most beautiful color schemes that I think exist, and very natural, is “Hunter green” and “honey oak” Whether for the bedroom, or kitchen. Honey oak is such a beautiful and warm wood, and Hunter green is such a beautiful contrast, and such a neutral color.
