  1. Nice feature! How does this work when also using SEO-plugins who often also support redirects? (Regarding the risk of PHP-conflicts)

    1. SEO plugins mostly do frontend redirects, for instance if a page or post was deleted and would then give you a 404 page. Ultimate Dashboard does redirects for only the WordPress admin and login area so there shouldn‘t be any conflicts 🙂

    2. I think he did a terrible job because after you do this, if you lose your admin login page url, you’re fucked.

    1. I’m going to have a docs post up in the next few days on how exactly this will work on multisites. We came up with a pretty cool logic for it.

In Ultimate Dashboard PRO, you can select a blueprint site. From that blueprint, you can configure the login redirect settings individually for the blueprint and for all subsites.

The wp-login.php & wp-admin redirects on the other hand will apply to all sites on the network.

  2. Hello, the idea is that what you show here is the pro version. I did not find the possibility in the simple version. Would it have been hard for you to say that at first or somewhere in the video? Ohh now I see it’s made by you, so in the end it’s an advertisement for a product made by you.

    1. are you running the latest version? this is part of the free version. the pro version extends this only in regards to multisite support

  3. OK, is it advert for the plugin? No real knowledge of the code nor technical details?

  4. Hello, I’ve just installed it and it works like a charm, but for the “New Login URL” section can I put my custom 404 page because it’s redirecting me to the default theme 404 page? Thank you!
