There are two sides to the air pollution downside in our ocean\u2026 the air pollution that&#8217;s already within the ocean and the air pollution that continues to pour into our ocean. The first downside will be tackled by seashore cleanups on a small scale, with take-three-for-the-sea at each seashore go to and big grand scale clear ups. The different downside, that isn\u2019t talked about a lot, is the issue of tackling air pollution on the supply. The greatest method to deal with air pollution on the supply is training and I firmly consider that elevating up younger ocean warriors is the best way to go. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7800\/46577041494_0ae0feccef_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" alt=\"tempImageForSave 4\"\/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>A few years again I began a health journey and that journey led to me operating the Two Oceans Half Marathon and the beginning of my relationship with the I Am Water Foundation\u2026 since then I&#8217;ve been privileged, annually to donate an epic ocean to swim to an ocean loving organisation, and so give again to the ocean that I like. Ocean loving organisations have been a part of my health journey and my quest for journey, this yr I&#8217;ve determined to dedicate my complete summer time of open water swimming to the I Am Water Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52467154832_163b516a2e_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" alt=\"AAB1E936-B76F-47DF-A6EE-38E58C943A29\"\/><\/center><br \/>\n<center><\/p>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The I Am Water Ocean Foundation is an organisation primarily based in Cape Town, that takes youngsters that reside inside higher Cape Town space and but, they don\u2019t have a possibility to go to the seashore. The Langebaan Express begins on the southern finish of Langebaan lagoon and carries on northwards previous the favored Pearly\u2019s seashore and on to the Mykonos Yacht Club.<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52468205528_6fe061a828_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" alt=\"IMG_6487_result\"\/><\/center><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve to say that I liked it, I liked the coaching constructing as much as it, and I liked the occasion. It was an ideal expertise and I&#8217;m wanting ahead to plenty extra swims within the season forward.<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52467932874_3d24fc148c_z.jpg\" width=\"388\" height=\"640\" alt=\"IMG_4492\"\/> <\/center><br \/>\nIt is a 12km swim, the primary 6km have been improbable, tide assisted miles and actually flying, and the second six km weren&#8217;t(!), the wind got here up, and dealing towards the tide, the water was tough and it actually was an adventurous swim. This medal, took months of planning and coaching, fabulous teaching, an incredible workforce, hours and hours of ocean swimming and severe squad coaching. It was all completely, completely value it.
