  1. I have on the left side class 3 and on the right side class 2. On the left I use the elastic from upper canine to lower last molar, and on the right from lower canine to upper last molar. It is correct? I’m a little confused by your video because it seems that I wear them opposite, but that’s how the orthodontist said. I wear them also for correctibg the bite. Thanks

    1. Depending on what you need for your specific treatment, you may need to wear elastics differently. In the video we show how an orthodontist will typically use elastics but your orthodontist may use them differently. Always use them how your orthodontist has recommend! If you have concerns, please reach out to your orthodontist and confirm that the way you have been instructed to use them is correct. Hope that helps!

  2. Hello! I got my elastics earlier today and my orthodontics says ‘every 8 hours’ and I am now contemplating what she meant for that, I was dumb I didn’t had any follow-up questions maybe I am just shy. Does she means to change the rubber every 8 hours? Am I still need to wear the elastics 24/7? Please if anyone of you read this and know the answer please do I would really appreciate.

  3. I just have bands on my upper canine and lower canine for both sides of my mouth. I’m 16 months into treatment and just got power chains and the top and bottom. What are the bands suppose to fix??

  4. Warning! Don’t wear any type of thiese elastics and also dont extract any of your teeth! These bands push your upper alveolar bone downwards, backwards and inwards. Plus, if you extracted any of your teeth, those gap will be closed by moving the front teeth back so it will the increase the damage of these shitty treatment. At the and of the treatment, your face will be recessed and sunken even your bite is perfect. You wont be able to breath healty anymore since the upper palate were moved backwards and your tongue stick in your mouth and close your airway. If you don’t want to be ugly and care about your health, stay away from that fucking conventional treatment. Just search “orthotropics” and “myfunctional orthodontics”.

  5. Thumbnail pr apne image daalo hai us trah elastics upeer teeth ko inside kregi ja fir lower ko outward bahr nikale gi ??????? Any tell me whta it shows in the image of thumnail of this video.

  6. Thanks for making this video! I currently have an overbite and I wanted to know if I were putting my elastics/bands on properly. Now I can go to bed know I got it right!
