I’m actually hoping that my daughter and her fiancé will have the ability to recover from to the UK from Bucharest in the summertime. I haven’t seen her since Christmas 2019 (besides on Zoom!) and although she’s solely 32, she’s had each her jabs already as they’re prioritising lecturers over there, so fingers crossed 🤞

Meanwhile, since I final posted, I’ve made a birthday cake, obtained a birthday cake, and made some Easter treats!

The birthday cake was for my buddy Amy’s Mum, and was a vanilla sponge with buttercream filling and ornament. This was an 8” spherical so double the recipe right here. I used a few of the abilities I’ve discovered on Carol McFarland’s buttercream flowers on-line courses and I believe it appears actually recent and fairly 🌸

For Easter I made a decision to make chocolate treats. You don’t wish to know the way a lot melted chocolate I received over me, the microwave, the work floor……you get the thought 🤦🏻‍♀️ however I used to be happy with the outcomes. I used BWB moulds for the stuffed hearts and egg, and a Cakestar mould for the little bunnies 🐰
