  1. You’ll have to say hey some Saturday when you’re on if you come on and watch Jason live I didn’t know that you watch the show I’m there also I really enjoy it I think it’s good that we as LOCKSMITH all get together on a channel in that great.

    1. I’ve not had a chance to watch a live yet!! I usually watch all these YouTube vids when I get a spare hour or 2 (which isn’t often) 🤣

  2. Also I noticed that you never recommodate locks with putting new pins in it in Springs things like that I noticed you primarily just replace everything do you not have equipment and stuff to do the pinning just just wondered

    1. Re-pinning locks isn’t done much over here unless it’s a keyed alike system! The locks are cheap enough so it’s more cost effective to just change them
      Thanks for watching 😊

    2. @A Day In The Life Of A Locksmith – Andy Perrin very strange system. here your apt key will get you in the entrance door. each tenant only needs to use 1 key. so now you have to provide at least 16 keys and a cylinder? that cant be more cost effective then repining to work with existing keys.

  3. Great video as always. Some of those Jobs could have been very tricky. I noticed the door closer you refitted in its existing position looked a bit low for my liking. I know it wasn’t you, you did what I would have done and just put it back in the same place. I tend to fit them a lot higher myself.
    Another cracking video.

    1. Yes it was a bit low, but like you say, I just fitted it back where it was (other than moving it to the right by an inch)
      Thanks for watching Roy 😊

    2. @A Day In The Life Of A Locksmith – Andy Perrin I was thinking about you today as I fitted fire and smoke seals on two doors. Installed a new euro sash lock and was able to use the mortice jig on the keep as it’s a door and half a door together. Fitting the closer tomorrow. You gotta love those mortice jigs.
      🙂👍🏻

    3. @Roy Sammons Good work Mr 😊 I now have the offset attachment for the Souber jig so looking forward to giving that a try soon 👍🏼

  4. Nice work as always Andy ,

And I bought a holder for it from GJ for the Letter box tool 😊

    1. Traffic wardens are real people, you are correct!! I just don’t have any time for them 😂😂
      Thanks for watching 😊

  5. Such a variety of jobs this week, makes for an interesting day. thanks for sharing , have a fun weekend, cheers

  6. 😂 the idea is you buy the tool so you don’t have to use it! Always how it goes lol. Another great vid man keep it up.

    1. Hahaha!!! It’s amazing!! I’d of thought I would of been able to try it out by now 😂😂
The next one I get with an outward opening door I’m using the snib mouse anyway Gav 😂😂😂

  7. Great variety this week!! That’s one of the things I love about the job. Keep up the fine work Andy

    1. Thanks Matthew. Me too!! Kees it interesting 😊

  8. Era deadlatches that stiffen up respond better (and longer) with a dab of grease on the main bolt and more importantly on the auxillary bolt than WD40….also great for Ingersoll sc71’s….a dab of grease on the bevel on the keep and the lock glides…in both cases, i use a dab of vaseline…try it…it works!!

    1. I’ll give that a go next time.
      Thanks Kirri 😊

    1. Hi Michael.
Sorry for the delay getting back to you.
